  1. How to start up SECS Message Viewer .

    SECS Message Viewer is started up according to the following procedures.
    • Please click on “Viewer Execute” button in the execution window of SECS Packet Logger (Monitor) or the main window.


    or

    • Please click on short cut file of ” SECS Message Viewer ” is right under the drive of the USB flash memory if release version.
      Please click on [start]-[Program]-[SECSLOG]-[ SECS Message Viewer ] of Windows if trial version.

    [Commentary]
    If you want to open the registered file after the start, you will be able to open the file by dropping it on the window or specifying it on Menu( [File]-[Open] ) window.

  2. How to synchronize between Message Tree View(left view window) and SECS Message View(right view window).

    Please double click a message on Message Tree View(left view window) if you want to synchronize between Message Tree View(left view window) and SECS Message View(right view window).
    You will find dot mark at synchronized message on left line of SECS Message View(right view window).

    If you want to move to next message on Message Tree View(left view window), you will click on Menu( [View]-[Next Message] ) window.
    You will find dot mark at synchronized next message on left line of SECS Message View(right view window).


    Also, If you want to move to previous message on Message Tree View(left view window), you will click on Menu( [View]-[Previous Message] ) window.
    You will find dot mark at synchronized previous message on left line of SECS Message View(right view window).

  3. How to set (Tree) filter.

    It might be good to put the Tree Filter if you want to have only the message that you need displayed from the list of the message of a Message Tree View(left view window).

    If you want to set Tree Filter, you will click on Menu( [View]-[Tree Filter] ) window.


    You set set filter information, and the OK button is clicked.
    The message of a left view window will notice you displayed only information that you need.

  4. How to find a character in SECS Message View(window).

    You will be able to find the character string that wants to check from a SECS Message View(right view window) where all information that logging is done is displayed.

    If you want to find a character on SECS Message View(right view window), you will click on Menu( [Edit]-[Find] ) window.


    After you set character string, you will click “Find Next button” on following window.
    You will notice the scroll of a right view window, and the movement to information that you are requesting.


    If you want to find next hit string on now cursor, you will check “Down” on window, and will click “Find Next” button, or you will click on Menu([Edit] – [Find Next] )button.
    If you want to find previous hit string on now cursor, you will check “Up” on window, and will click “Find Next” button, or you will click on Menu([Edit] – [Find Previous] )button.

  5. How to synchronize between SECS Packet Logger or SECS Serial Logger and SECS Message View(this application).
    (Only release version)

    You will be able to synchronize SECS Message between SECS Packet Logger or SECS Serial Logger and SECS Message View(this application).
    If you use this function, you will be able to see newer SECS message without your operation.
    [Commentary]
    You should select one Application on menu(‘[View ] – [Auto reload]’) if you want to synchronize SECS Message between SECS Packet Logger or SECS Serial Logger and SECS Message View(this application).
    * If several SECS Packet Logger or SECS Serial Logger runs, each title of applications will show on this menu(‘[View ] – [Auto reload]’).

    If you select one Application on menu(‘[View ] – [Auto reload]’) again, this application will stop synchronization.

    Also , always you will be able to scroll to newer SECS Message position without your operation by check of menu([View]-[Auto Scroll]).
    * If you checked of menu([View]-[Auto Scroll]), eatch left window and right window will scroll to newer SECS Message position.

  6. How to read and view binary file.
    (Only release version)

    You will be able to read and view binary file that was logged by SECS Packet Logger(V2.20 or later) or SECS Serial Logger(V1.00 or later).
    It is necessary to set the output of the binary file in the environmental setting of each application (detailed set up information of the output file and the directory). Please refer to help of each application for details.

    The way to open the binary file is the same as “How to start up SECS Message Viewer . – [Commentary]” .
    If you open binary file, you will notice be shown binary text dump of all communication informations.
    This dump is output in order of the communication, and data might be divided by tcsp/ip or serial port.
